Jessica Brown

Jessica is a graduate of the Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town (2007), where she majored in printmaking. She has been working as a full-time artist and illustrator in Cape Town, South Africa, and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree of Art in Fine Art, in the research of fine art conservation of works on paper. She will be exploring critical issues concerning fine art conservation theory and practice, and hopes to combine, through this programme, a scientifically-sound research methodology with an investigation into the associated ethical and deontological implications of contemporary conservation practice.
