Honours in Curatorship class of 2018 graduate!

The CCA would like to congratulate the Honours in Curatorship class of 2018 who graduated today! 

Pictured above is the Honours in Curatorship programme convener and CCA director Professor Pippa Skotnes along with members of the graduating class: Ndeenda Shivute, Amogelang Maledu, Melissa Waters, Lilietta Njovana, Georgia Stonehouse, and Luvuyo Nyawose.

Both Amogelang Maledu and Luvuyo Nyawose were selected from over one hundred applicants for the 2019 Iziko Museums internship programme, Ndeenda Shivute is a curator at the National Gallery of Namibia, Georgia Stonehouse has just started as an assistant curator at 99 Loop Gallery and Lilietta Njovana is getting ready to do a curatorial internship overseas.

Not pictured from the 2018 graduating class: Lemeeze Davids who is currently working for the Goodman Gallery, San-Mari van der Merwe who is an archivist for the Sanlam Gallery, Thembakazi Matroshe who is an independent curator and Lonwabo Kilani and Elizabeth Smith who are both doing their Masters at the Michaelis School of Fine Art.
